Vascular Improvement Program

One year multidisciplinary risk factor reduction clinic

Suitable for:

  1. Primary Prevention: Challenging Risk Profile, 2 or more risk factors
  2. Secondary Prevention: Post MI, Heart Failure, PAD, Cardio/Vascular condition (see referral for complete information)

Location: Weekly exercise program takes place at the Tournament Capital Centre

The weekly Exercise program is on Tuesday mornings. 

We are located at 311 Columbia Street in Kamloops, on the fourth floor of the Clinical Services Building

On Track Program

Suitable for:

  1. Primary Prevention: Stable Hypertension, Stable Diabetes, Dyslipidemia, Metabolic Syndrome
  2. Mild to Moderate Depression/Anxiety
  3. No established cardiovascular disease

Location: Tournament Capital Centre.   

Weekly Exercise and Education meetings: 9:30 am - 12:00 pm -Thursdays

Pulmonary Rehabilitation Program

Suitable for:

COPD (mild-severe), Emphysema, Chronic Bronchitis, Bronchiectasis, Chronic Asthma, Pulmonary Fibrosis. and/or other lung conditions

Location: The program alternates between In-Person and Virtual formats.

The exercise and education component of the Pulmonary Rehabilitation Program takes place at the Tournament Capital Centre (910 McGill Rd)

Suitable for:

  1. Women with a diagnosis of Cancer
